There was an extra special reason for celebrations at Emmanuel Church, Ormskirk yesterday as the congregation moved into its impressive new worship area.
Its Easter morning service was packed with folk all impressed with the end result of a large investment into the transformed church.
Folk enjoyed Easter breakfast together with Rev Sue Genault welcoming members, friends and visitors from the local Methodist circuit for the 10.30am service.
And there are exciting plans to start new groups at Emmanuel now the conversion work's been completed with one - 'Little Fishes' for babies, toddlers and grown ups - starting next month.
Meanwhile, fundraising for the refurbishment fund continues on Thursday evening with a fashion show by M and Co of Formby in Langham Hall.
