Car and motorbike enthusiasts thinking of entering their vintage, classic or competition vehicle for the Ormskirk MotorFest can take advantage of a great early bird offer for the 2019 event.

The next marvellous MotorFest will take place on Sunday 25 August 2019 and will be one of the biggest free family events in the North West. Huge crowds are expected to come along and enjoy the wonderful range of cars, motorcycles and other vehicles on display.

The first 50 owners who enter their vehicles in the event can put their pride and joy in the parade laps for just £5, half the normal price of £10.

If you don't want to put your car or motorcycle into the parade laps but just want to put your car in one of the static displays on Coronation Park that is still free of charge. Vehicles that are put on display on Aughton Street and Moor Street will be taking part in the parade laps so will have paid the lap fee.

The event is also free to all visitors coming to admire the vehicles and enjoy other attractions on the day.

Ormskirk MotorFest is organised by Aintree Circuit Club and supported by West Lancashire Borough Council.

Mike Ashcroft, Chairman of Aintree Circuit Club, said: "The Motorfest is always a great event and entries for MotorFest 2019 are open on the website www.ormskirkmotorfest.com. The first 50 owners who want to put their vehicle on one of the parade laps can take advantage of our great early bird offer."

Councillor John Hodson, West Lancashire Borough Council portfolio holder for Planning, said: "The magical MotorFest is set to return to Ormskirk in the summer of 2019, so if you want to take advantage of this great early bird offer then don't delay in signing up or you could miss out."

Anyone thinking of being a Motorsport Marshal has an extra incentive to get involved in this and other similar motorsport events as it could lead to them winning a cash prize from Aintree Circuit Club. First prize is £250, second prize is £150 and third prize is £100.

To be eligible people must hold a Motorsport UK marshal’s accreditation, or if a new marshal they must show proof of passing the free online accreditation tests. They must attend and act as a marshal at the 2019 Ormskirk MotorFest and a minimum of seven other events organised by a member of the Association of North West Circuit Clubs (ANWCC) across three separate disciplines (such as Autotest, Speed & Rally).

Marshals will also be eligible for the monthly ANWCC Marshals’ Prize draws, subject to them sending in their claims to the Championship Co-ordinator, which will also be used to register qualifying events counting towards the ACC Incentive Awards.

To register as a marshal for the 2019 Ormskirk MotorFest please visit www.ormskirkmotorfest.com. Marshals attending Motorfest will also continue to be paid a flat rate for expenses and receive refreshments.
