Family and friends from as far away as the USA, Canada and the Dominican republic travelled to Ormskirk for a very special birthday party for a very special lady!
And Edna Wither from Renfrey Close celebrated her centenary in style at Hurlston Hall last weekend with some 75 folk toasting the diehard Liverpool fan who even received a card from Anfield for the big day.
Edna's lived in Ormskirk for 60 years moving to the town after WW2; she and her late husband Fred had four children, five grandchildren and there are now 13 great grandchildren - with another on the way.
Said son Keith, pictured left: "We all enjoyed the party.
"Some folk had never attended a 100th birthday before and Hurlston Hall was a great venue."
