This year’s Farmageddon has been cancelled after organisers at Farmer Ted's decided it would be 'impossible' to keep visitors and staff safe during the pandemic.
The popular event is held every October, attracting thousands of people who walk through haunted houses and get scared witless by actors.
This is the first time in 14 years it won’t be held, a spokesman saying: "It is with much regret that in the interests of public health and safety Farmaggedon 2020 will not be opening its doors this coming October.
“We feel it would be impossible to keep our actors and audience safe during the current pandemic.
“We feel that if the event could be altered to meet current guidelines, even then we wouldn't be providing our best service.
“This is the first time in 14 years that Farmaggedon has not brought fear and screams to our reaching communities throughout October.
“We will be back to survive and thrive in 2021 and look forward to hearing your screams.”
