A faulty fryer - the machine, not a person - is thought to be responsible for last night's fire at Dinky Dory on Church St.
Four fire appliances attended the incident with three on Church St. and another sited behind the premises.
Crews left at around midnight with the crowd dispersing around 10.30pm.

Date: 22/08/2019 Time: 20:53:00 Address: Church Street, Ormskirk Four fire engines from Ormskirk, Skelmersdale and Wigan attended a commercial building fire involving a ground floor kitchen on Church Street in Ormskirk. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels, a ventilation unit and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
