You've got to be really green fingered to produce a garden display like this - and years of experience paid off again for Ormskirk's Brian and Marian Jones at the weekend.

Sunday saw lots of visitors - and not a few who were green with envy - to their Ludlow Drive gardens for the brilliant Open Garden Sunday event which raises money for a variety of charities.

Said Marian: "We had a lovely day with over 100 visitors and raised £1124 for the caring charities.

"We had many lovely comments and hope to open again next year and are looking for other gardens to open with us.
