It would appear that Labour are feeling quite threatened by OWL to have to have one of its supporters make such a statement! It’s they, the Party in Power that should be dealing with such matters, it’s their failings and theirs alone!

What with one ward councillor, hardly

  6. jester01 says:14/06/2018 06:32 AM
The fact of the matter is it’s the one ward they have and he’s never been seen so I don’t think anyone will be that threatened by these part time gardeners/ residents group

I note that another activist for Labour has submitted the same type of comment in the local free Paper, sound like the governing party is feeling rather uncomfortable! By councillors who are willing to get their hands dirty and not a penny spent! And their only reward is to help tidy up the town. Pity we don’t have a lot more residents on the council With no other political motivation than what’s good for the residents and the wellbeing of Ormskirk.

Any news on where the money to finish Ormskirk town centre sinking roads and uneven footpath has been spirited too?

To quote you ' maybe if we had ever seen our ward councillor , her could deal with it ' ???
You plant pot , you have 3 male councillors in Derby ward ( 2 OWL and 1 Labour ) not a ' her ' . Did you ask them to report it ? What ever party you support , you can not expect local councillors of what ever political group to accuse them when you have not informed them of a problem !

    You are a plant pot

Have read the comment thread above, I do fee sorry for poor Jester - not only can he not spell Councillor but he seems to think that the ward in question has only one Councillor ? How strange - each ward has three elected representatives and with any issue, procedure is usually to contact them to use their 'clout' to get things moving. Sure some councillors are actively engaged with their electorate and always follow up on any concerns expressed and sadly others just seem to think being a councillor involves just turning up to meetings/giving apologies/collecting expenses.
Alternatively from WLBC webiste there is a link for residents to report such issues to LCC and get things moving themselves !
