Customers and staff are breathing a sigh of relief with news that mighty Home Bargains have bowed to their demands and stopped playing its doleful spa style music in store.

A store insider confirmed that the firm pays around £100 per store for a music licence - it's not known if cost cutting was one of the reasons for the change in music policy earlier this year that's now thankfully been reversed.
