Caught in my rear view mirror on Saturday afternoon - a very near miss on Prescot Road, Ormskirk.
The culprit was an impatient driver in a BMW 140i who tiring of following a car towards Aughton at the 30 limit decided to overtake near the junction with Wimbrick Crescent.
Cue a Vauxhall Meriva pulling out towards Ormskirk at exactly the same time - the BMW decided to press on with his manoeuvre, missing the oncoming car by inches.
Oh lucky man - this time....
