Members of the Rotary Club of Ormskirk can’t hold their usual Christmas Carol concert this year – so they're hosting a virtual Christmas variety show instead!

They have teamed up with a number of other local Rotary clubs to hold the online event on YouTube from 7pm-10pm on Friday, December 11.

Proceeds will be split equally between three local children’s hospices - Derian House, Claire House and Zoe’s Place - which they have supported throughout the year and still need donations.

John McCormick, one of the organisers, said: “Despite the difficulties surrounding the current pandemic, a couple of local schools have managed to make a contribution to the show.

“In order to provide as much support to the various charities, we would like as many children, parents and families in the area to join in and enjoy what we hope will be a truly spectacular event while, at the same time, making a Christmas donation towards such worthy causes.”

It will cost £10 per household plus an £1.37 admin fee by the ticket providers, Eventbrite. Tickets are available now at https://is.gd/zcxXY4
