A quiet car park on Saturday afternoon tells its own story from Ormskirk's new Lidl...
QLocal reporter Roger Blaxall's heard from a store insider that staff hours are now being cut just weeks after it opened.
One lady from nearby Yew Tree Road said she'd never heard of it and it seems that it's just too far way from the town centre - and its big rival Aldi - to register on local students 'radar'.

Its brilliant, easy parking (no fines to worry about), always nice and quiet and better selection of stuff than Aldi with its own bakery !!!!!!

My Grandson works at Lidl and confirms that his contracted hours have not been reduced. However the Christmas " extra" hours have been discontinued, this is normal for nearly every business in shops and retail. Lidl is a great firm to work for and the hourly pay is right at the top for Supermarkets.
