Lidl was one of Ormskirk busiest supermarkets when lockdown hit the area.
Now it's one of the biggest losers as lockdown eases with 1,400 shoppers a week 'missing in action'.

It's thought many have returned to places like Booths, Burscough.

Could be, at least in part, because Lidl don't deliver. Many people have started using online shopping during lockdown and are either sticking with online or else going to the supermarket they were able to get deliveries from.
