You can't help fail to notice the number of almost empty Stagecoach double deckers on what should be busy local routes.
Yesterday, QLocal's Roger Blaxall spoke to Alex Crane, local operations director who explained the dilemma facing local bus companies with this statement:
'The 2A route operates into Preston and does get busier the further down the route it gets.
We are having to use larger vehicles at the moment because we are currently seeing the capacity on our vehicles reduced from around 80 passengers on a double decker to 20 passengers so we can follow the Government's guidelines on 2m social distancing.
To put this into normal terms every other seat closest to the window is available to use.'
