A sign of things to come?
QLocal's reporter Roger Blaxall heard last night that some 19 young drinkers were asked to leave The Court Leet last weekend after refusing to comply with repeated social distancing requests.
They were evidently insisting on mixing with friends and going from table to table to chat.
It's not just younger folk have problems with the 'new normal' in local pubs and bars: a Wetherspoon's insider revealed that a number of older customers insist on standing at the bar to chat instead of buying a drink and then returning to their table.
It's going to be an interesting week with the new curfew from Tuesday: The Court Leet's finishing cooking meals at 8.30pm and will be closed on the dot at 10pm.
