Ormskirk couple Brian and Marian Jones of 72, Ludlow Drive are opening their garden once again for the Open Gardens scheme on Sunday 14th July, 11-4 pm.
Admission is £3.50, children free, homemade teas and a plant stall, and there's wheelchair access to front garden.
Their cottage style garden's packed full of bee friendly plants and includes a gravel garden, colourful herbaceous and shrub borders, a raised pond, alpines and succulents.
All of the money raised go to the charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Carers Trust, Queens Nursing Institute, Carers Trust, Parkinsons UK, MIND, Treloar’s and KIDS.
The National Garden Scheme - which has been established for over 90 years - is the most significant charitable funder of nursing in the country and last year over £90,000 was raised by Lancashire gardens alone.
