An Ormskirk School pupil's still recovering from back injuries after she 'twerked' her way into and then through a charity shop window in Ormskirk town centre.
The hapless teen was celebrating her forthcoming 18th at Alpine and had the accident after the event outside Age UK on Burscough St. on her way home.
Concerned friends waited so long for an ambulance that a police car took here to A and E for treatment late on Saturday night.
"Does she realise how lucky she is?" said one bartender on Tuesday evening.
"It only takes one shard of glass to sever an artery and it could have been a very different story."
It's not known yet if the teen or her parents will pick up the tab for repairing the expensive plate glass window at the shop which remains boarded up.

What a strange accident. I couldn't even imagine it before reading the article. What damaged me most at school and college is different writing tasks. I even searched for assignment writing help because I couldn't stand them at all.
