'Acting on community intelligence, our Neighbourhood team assisted by our response colleagues responded to an unauthorised music event that had been organised in the Aughton area on Saturday night.

A large group of youths have been dispersed and DJ equipment seized.

Enquiries will continue to identify the organiser of the event and the owner of the equipment will be spoken to in due course.

We thank the community for working with us to prevent this unlawful event.'
