Rafi's Spicebox, an Indian food and spices company, have re-branded their popular Vindaloo Curry Packs 'Vinda-blue' to encourage more conversations about mental health and raise funds for the charity Lancashire Mind.

Throughout the month of March shoppers at Booths stores in Burscough can pick up a Vinda-blue Curry Pack with 50p from the sale of each pack being donated to the mental health and wellbeing charity. Rafi's Spicebox, who have shops across the UK, have previously successfully run the the ‘Vinda-Blue’ curry promotion with other local Mind charities.

Jasmine Chappell, its Marketing and Communications Coordinator said: "We are really pleased to be able to offer our Lancashire customers the opportunity to support their local Mind through our limited edition 'Vinda-Blue' Curry Packs. We have been working in partnership with Lancashire Mind for a number of years and staff feel emotionally connected to the charity. Our team feel they can speak openly and honestly about mental health and wellbeing and it’s something we want all our customers to feel able to do too.

"We chose our Vindaloo Curry Pack for the charity promotion as it's curry that, historically, people have reservations about trying. We know that many people still have concerns and reservations about talking openly about mental health, so we wanted to encourage people to try something new and start conversations about those days that everyone has where they feel a little blue."
