Are NSG Lathom hoping for a long, hot summer?
If so, it'll be an added bonus for its European Technical Centre with its bespoke solar farm now live and powering the Hall Lane site.
Not one but two solar facilities were recently completed by Grupotec for Lightsource - one smaller one at the NSG site itself and the other much larger one on adjacent fields; there was no little controversy with locals when it was first proposed given the site's historical connections with the Lathom remount depot.
And last week, as QLocal's Roger Blaxall was taking these exclusive photos, a local man told him of dead deer being found on Hall Lane for the first time ever - and of complaints by some locals of the 'glare' from the thousands of solar panels.
The new solar farm will be officially opened soon according to the NSG PR department.
