The 'mother and father' of all local charity shops got off to a flying start after opening on Thursday morning.
And Sue Ryder's impressive charity super store was filled with customers after town crier Don Evans did the honours at 10 sharp, cutting the ribbon to a noisy countdown.
It's the latest addition to the thriving Ringtail retail park and is strategically placed next to Aldi and near a B&M Bargains as are all new similar Sue Ryder units. One feature is its wonderful vintage and retro section along with a great selection of PAT tested electrical goods.
Various staff from other Sue Ryder shops in Lancashire were there from Monday onwards to help stock up - and the next job on manager Debra Browne's agenda is to 'find an army of volunteers'!
Pop in to find out more - it's open 9.30 - 5.30 Monday to Saturday and 10 - 4 on Sundays.
