"He assured us he would keep on top of the issue, yet the problem is as bad as ever.

"I noticed further litter at the premises more than a week ago and brought it immediately to their attention yet nothing has been done to clear it.”“At Morrisons during the community litter pick two Sundays ago, we spotted a fly tip in the hedge in the corner of the supermarket’s car park.

"We reported it to store management on the day, but almost a fortnight later and it hasn’t been dealt with.”The Knowsley ward councillor concluded: “Businesses are often critical of the council and its efforts, but they too need to play their part in making Ormskirk a place where people want to shop and spend money.”
