The controversial head of Ormskirk School has now left.
According to Lancashire County Council, Martin Witter has moved on to 'further his career'.
A few months ago, he was engaged in a very public spat with MP Rosie Cooper:

Lesley Gwinnett, chief executive of Endeavour Learning Trust (ELT), has been given the role of 'Interim Executive Headteacher' and tasked with urgently establishing a list of short, medium and long term priorities.
In the letter addressed to parents, students and staff, Sarah Callaghan, LCC's director of education and skills, wrote: “To further his career, Mr. Martin Witter has taken the decision to move on from his positions as Headteacher of Ormskirk School.
“He would like to acknowledge the commitment and efforts of the staff, students, parents and governors in their collective drive to improve Ormskirk School over the period of his headship.
"He wishes everyone well for the future.”

So sad the loss of another great teacher, I hope the people who are responsible are happy now. Nosey bizzy boddies should keep out of school politics. They should be ashamed of themselves.
