Anxious Burscough locals on Liverpool Road South are not looking forward to the opening of a new care home.
They're worried about exactly where staff, visitors and contractors will all park and are hoping that LCC sees sense and insists on yellow lines near the junction with Manor Road so that the safety of drivers and pedestrians is not compromised.
It's not known which planning conditions were made regards parking but locals have claimed that Athena Healthcare's done a deal with the borough council to use the residents car park on Manor Road.
There have been similar safety concerns about parking at its home on County Road, Ormskirk.
