This is the student house at the centre of an Ormskirk stabbing drama yesterday teatime.

It was all quiet at 19, Wigan Road this evening when QLocal reporter Roger Blaxall took this exclusive picture; it was a different story last night after police and ambulance crews attended the property with the NW Air Ambulance also deployed, landing on the Greetby Hill school grounds.

One Edge Hill student from Oldham, Lancs. told Blaxall this evening that detectives carried out door to door enquiries in the area today; if there are any more developments they'll be posted on QLocal over the weekend.

Different story than the one given by the Labour Leader about the Town in this article. Three cheers for Edge Hill for saving the town!

I’ve got a good idea close the Bus station and its car park and build student accommodation on it. That will bring in visitors and re energise the local economy in fact they could have guided tours of the site as a primary tourist attraction, just don’t know where all the extra cars will park though!

Why would you publish a victims address and share photos of their house online?

By all means say Wigan Road, or near the Windmill, but surely publishing the address of a victim of a crime is journalistic malpractice,

Are you deliberately trying to cause problems for the victim, and his family or housemates?
